Chuck sent in some gems from “The Week in Tools”… – “This week we checked out some beautiful handmade French rasps that transcend functionality to become art. (Their irregularly cut and spaced teeth cut better, too.) If you have a grinder in your shop, you could probably use a tool rest, which helps you control the item you’re grinding; We found a nice one you can buy cheap – or use as a pattern to make your own. We also looked at a slick home tool kit in a James-Bond-nuclear-weapon-suitcase and an inexpensive face shield that looks like something an astronaut’d wear.
