We definitely side-eyed the headline of this article that calls carving a pumpkin with a machine that costs upwards of 100 grand a “life hack” (whose life?), but it’s still neat to see a waterjet carve out this pumpkin in less than a minute.

One thing we’ve always been impressed with at Make: is the way the maker community comes together to collaborate, form friendships, and, in the words of Bill and Ted, “be excellent to each other.” One of the ways we’ve seen this in action is in the camaraderie between Makers on YouTube.

The Museu de la Tècnica, a small, nondescript museum in the Spanish town of Figueres, houses a treasure trove of stunning antique typewriters. You have to read the twitter thread from @mwichary from start to finish. The machines are stunning.
