Join us later today for our ninth installment of Weekend Projects Hangouts On Air. We’ll be discussing the Touchless 3D Tracking Interface, which turns some everyday household materials like cardboard and aluminum foil into capacitor plates to be used as a virtual interface, controlled via an Arduino. Originally designed by Instructables user Kyle MacDonald, we’ll be joined by MAKE contributor Steve Hobley and MAKE Editors live later today at 3:30pm PT/6:30pm ET to discuss the project.
Bounce back here at the scheduled hangout time to watch LIVE or join the event on Google+ to watch and ask Steve and MAKE Editors any questions.
Every Friday from Oct. 11 – Dec. 20 we’ll be hanging out with makers of Weekend Projects, our beginner-friendly series of electronics builds powered by RadioShack. Join our host and 2012′s Maker Camp Director Nick Raymond, guest MAKE Editors, and specially invited makers for these fun and informal hangouts.
