Hi Crafters! I’m excited to announce two new bloggers who will be joining us on Craftzine.com! Welcome Becky Stern and Jenny Ryan! You’ll be seeing more from them starting this week. Here’s a little bit about our new peeps:
About Becky Stern:
As a recent graduate from Parsons the New School for Design, I’ve taken up a research
assistantship in the Arts, Media, and Engineering department at Arizona State University. I’ve always been into art, crafts, technology, and their intersections. My first computer was a PS/2 and my first quilt was made of squared scraps from my mother’s (many) fabric closets. My favorite crafts are ironic, nerdy, and one-of-a-kind. I have a penchant for excellent tutorials on any subject. I blog at sternlab.org/blog. I’m delighted to start blogging for Craft!
About Jenny Ryan:
I’m a kitsch-and-cupcake obsessed artist and crafter living in Silver Lake, CA with my cartoonist husband Johnny and our two insane cats, Kang and Kodos. Several years back, I turned my lifelong obsession with crafts into a business, SewDarnCute — though nowadays most of my time is spent organizing L.A.’s popular indie craft fair, Felt Club. I really enjoy helping other people get in touch with their crafty side, whether it’s posting recipes on my blog or hosting hands-on workshops at local stores. I’m a proud contributor to CRAFT magazine and am thrilled to be able to reach out to folks via the blog as well. Thanks for having me!
