The Call for Makers for the 3rd Annual World Maker Faire in NYC is now open! The entry close date is August 17th, giving all you makers exactly two months to prepare your notes, your projects, and yourselves to participate in the Greatest Show (and Tell) on Earth. For returning makers, you’ll notice some slight adjustments in our Entry Form, so be sure to read everything carefully and thoroughly. Specifically, our Main, Secondary, and Tertiary category options are meant to help us organize your project for our Maker Faire app for both Android and iOS. We’ve been working hard to raise awareness of our wonderful makers, and to make the event more satisfying for all!
We’ll be holding at least one more Town Hall meeting between now and the deadline, and I hope to conduct at least one site visit to the event grounds at the New York Hall of Science this summer.
