Not to split hairs or anything.. But this is far from zero emissions if it’s plugged into a wall socket to charge.. Beef doesn’t come from grocery stores it comes from cows like electricity doesn’t come from the wall it comes from generally coal fired or nuclear power plants. so electric vehicle != zero emission vehicle..
In fact. i think it’s actually impossible to make a zero emissions vehicle. even the power source of a bicycle (read: human) requires fuel that generates a lot of greenhouse gas to create/move to the person/process (cook).
neat project though. i wouldn’t mind piddling around nyc on one of these every now and then.
