Pete Friedrichs’ “Marvelous Magnetic Machines”

Science

H.P. “Pete” Friedrichs, author of the awesome self-published DIY electronics tomes “Voice of the Crystal” and “Instruments of Amplification,” has a new book coming out and he sent us this video teaser:

The book, to be entitled, “Marvelous Magnetic Machines” describes the construction of five different motors from household junk. The style and craftsmanship is not unlike the instruments you find in my other books, so I think there is a strong visual appeal that can serve to encourage people to experiment on their own.

Side note: The music in the video is original and was performed by a three-piece band I was part of back in the 80’s.

Looking forward to seeing the book, Pete!
