Don’t you hate it when you are trying to perform an electronic piece, and find that your dot matrix printer controller has broken? Well, I haven’t either, but thats exactly the situation that music hacker Sebastian Tomczak found himself in when performing ‘The Burrow’ by Lyndon Gray. Needing a quick solution to allow him to print characters at specific timing intervals, he pulled out his trusty Arduino, wired up the right pins to the printer cable, and was controlling his dot matrix printer directly in no time.
