Fun to drive and amusing to watch, we’ve been delighted by the little Sphero ‘bots since we first glimpsed them rolling around at Maker Faires.
The simple-looking little spheres secured a solid place in our hearts back in May, when we got a glimpse into how they were being used to introduce children to the concepts of engineering.
In September, Sphero introduced the skate-inspired, dual-wheeled Ollie, which can recognize its position and direction, and maintain its course in the face of bumps, jumps, and flips.
