Here’s a cool Maker that will be at the Maker Faire – See amazing knotwork as its being created! Learn more about fancy knotwork for both decorative and practical applications. Get your hands on some rope and learn a few tricks! Tim Allwine (the Maker) was the rigger on the Balclutha, a 1886 square-rigger restored in the 1970’s under the direction of the San Francisco Maritime Museum. Tim actually did the welding and other work to replace the the mizzen top mast on the Balclutha.
