A borescope is one of those tools that’s probably not in your hand-me-down toolbox. But once you’ve used one to inspect hard-to-reach spaces, you’ll wonder how you ever got by without. This model has a detachable viewer that lets you run the scope up to 32′ from the screen, a huge plus as it can turn a two-person job into solo work.  Even better, the viewer can record still images and video to an onboard SD card for later review, and comes with magnetic mounting feet and an RCA video out port.

The camera’s long 36″ gooseneck is fully waterproof and only slightly wider than a pencil, so it’s easy to maneuver even in very tight spaces. It has just the right balance of rigidity and flexibility, holding whatever shape without dipping as you move it around, and comes with magnetic pickup and inspection mirror attachments for the tip.
