I’m not personally a big knife person, but I have to admit that watching these videos is incredibly fascinating. Watching as someone beats red hot metal from one object into another – often functional – tool is a fantastic way to spend your time.

The Green Beetle focuses on knife making and knife reviews. The knife making aspect is really where I’ve spent a little time. He seems to be continuing the long tradition of pounding things like rasps, heavy metal wire, and railroad spikes. Just because people have been making knives from other stuff forever doesn’t mean that there’s nothing new to see here. These are filmed clearly and are quite beautiful and, as you can see below, there’s plenty to learn, even if you don’t have all the tools!
