How-To: Wood Burned Spoons

This wood burning project from Confessions of a New-Old Home Owner has been on my must-make list for awhile now. I’m always looking for ways to implement good design into my home that also serves a function instead of just a pretty thing taking up room on a shelf.

To make these customized spoons, head to your local dollar store, or take a trip to the thrift store to search for spoons with a little more character.

If you don’t own a wood burning tool, you could probably get away with using a soldering iron if you have one in the house. Or for another approach, if you have access to a laser cutter, you can make some really intricate designs using that.

Check out the full how-to for this project here.
