I love this ingenious project for stitching with your kids from This Little Project. Using recycled materials from an “invention junk box” kids are able to practice the motions of stitching and creating their own projects. Brilliant!

Peaches are so luscious, and our local farmstand has had amazing deals on organic peaches and nectarines. Over on Make It Do, Calli has a nice how-to on canning peaches to preserve the bounty of the season. I love that the first line of her post is “The best way to can peaches is with a friend.” Awww!
