Animated Sculpture using Projected Light

Even if you’re not a big fan of The Boss, you have to admit that artist Brian Fernandes-Halloran’s sculpture of his mother dancing to Bruce Springsteen, called “Brialliant Disguise,” is pretty incredible. The amazing thing is that the sculpture doesn’t actually move at all, instead the animation is created by selectively lighting segments of the sculpture with a projector.
