Digital Scans of Player Piano Rolls
Via Gary via Mark– This guy digitally scans old player piano rolls and converts them to midi files. So far he’s scanned 2,650 rolls! Here’s his main page. Here’s his scanner set-up. And here’s the page with all the midis. I’m loading these old-time tunes on my phone right now. It’s pretty neat to have 100 year old ring tones.
