del.icio.us + Gmail

del.icio.us + Gmail

Del-2 Handy…script which runs once a day to get the links for my link blog. It now crawls each link and sends an email to a Gmail account with the From field being the page URI, the Subject being the tags, and the body being a copy of the page. In addition to searching the page text, I can filter by tags by using an advanced search (e.g., subject:python). Now I love del.icio.us and Gmail more than before. Link. Also, check out our list.

Cease and desist for NYC iPod Subway Maps

Cease and desist for NYC iPod Subway Maps

Nyc
The site plans to get permission and/or make custom versions, but for now no more NYC maps for the iPod – the New York MTA has ordered me to remove the official maps from the site. I am hoping to acquire a license from their marketing department to offer the maps here. In the meantime, I hope you can all wait. Thanks. If worse comes to worse, I’ll make up a custom set of maps and offer them here. . Link.

Make Your Own Star Clock

Make Your Own Star Clock

Stars Tell what time it is, with the stars…Print this page from browser and cut out the circles below. If you don’t have a printer, try drawing your own star clock by copying the images below. Cut the notch on the smaller (blue) circle. Place the small circle on top of the large circle. Push a large paper faster to make a center hole through both circles and spread open the fastener on the back slde of the Star Clock or poke a hole through the circles with a pencil then thread a string or thin rubber band through the hole and knot it on both sides.
