These handsome twig pencils couldn’t be any easier to make. All you need is some hardwood sticks off of the ground, a drill, and some 2mm pencil leads. You can make a bunch of them in a batch, they’re useful tools to keep around your workshop, and they make great gifts for friends and colleagues. You’ll need to use a few sharp tools to make these, but this project is also a good way to help young makers gain confidence with drills and whittling tools.
