Reddit user tabres wanted to make a gift for his newborn nephew, so he customized an old Cozy Coupe toy car that he found on Craigslist to look like the Ecto-1 vehicle from Ghostbusters, one of his brother’s favorite movies when they were growing up.
I started by disassembling it completely, removing the stickers, cleaning it up and painting it white. I used simple white plastic primer out of a rattle can. It was cheap and provided heavy coverage for when my nephew will inevitably crash the thing.
Tabres explained that he found most of the parts on the internet or at a hardware store and that it was actually pretty inexpensive to put together in the end.
