North Little Rock’s Makerspace Impressive Beginnings
TheInnovationHub
I recently connected with tinkerer and maker Joel Gordon on Twitter. Joel is the director of the soon-to-opened makerspace called The Launch Pad, part of the Argenta Innovation Center, in North Little Rock. This beautifully made introductory video made me very interested to learn more about what Joel and others had planned for this makerspace.
In this Google Hangout, Joel explains more about his own background and the many people involved in helping North Little Rock become reborn as a digital innovation hub. Note how many stakeholders are gathered together to move this community forward. Other cities could learn a lot from North Little Rock. Goal-oriented people are attracted to goal-oriented places. Keep an eye on these folks. They’re reaching the future sooner than the rest of us.
