How to: Potholder Rug

Over the years, I have picked up a handful of crocheted potholders from the thrift store, and I’ve received some lovely handmade ones as well. What better way to showcase all the prettiness than in a rug? If you have a plethora of potholders, this is a nifty way to pay tribute to them all the while using up some of your creative juices in the process.

For me, one of the pleasant side-effects to circuit bending with mono-speaker toys is the ability to leave the original speaker embedded in the device, while still having the option to amplify the device when you’re ready to rock out on stage or for an art installation. This means I can always hear the toy when I want to, without needing a full PA or powered speaker setup.
