The Maker Faire crew, sponsors, and makers are all getting set for Maker Faire. If you’re coming to the fair, plan your time and keep your eyes open for these sights, activities and resources throughout the grounds. Here are some things to know for before, and when, you get here:
Getting Here
The fair is at the New York Hall of Science, which is located at 47-01 111th Street, Queens, New York 11368.
Subway
Take 7 LOCAL train to 111th Street Station. Walk three blocks south. Or, take 7 EXPRESS to Mets-Willets Point. Walk down the boardwalk and follow the signs to the New York Hall of Science. For up-to-date subway service advisories, please visit www.mta.info.

Bus
Q23 or Q58 to Corona Avenue and 108 Street. Q48 to 111 Street and Roosevelt Avenue.
Bike
Bike Valet will be available on Saturday and Sunday at the 111st entrance. Bike Valet Hours:
Saturday 9:30am – 7:30pm
Sunday 9:30am – 6:30pm
Please check the Queens Bike Map for preferred routes and bike paths.
A social (group) bicycle ride will take place the morning of Saturday September 21st. The event details can be found here on Facebook – please “Join” the event on Facebook so we know how many riders to expect.

Sights & Activities
Makers will have cool stuff to see and hands on activities to try. Get ready to get involved. Make an underwater ROV! Watch a Power Wheels race! Learn to solder!
With so many makers, there’s honestly much more to see than you are likely to have time for… but you should try!

Performances
Get Something to Eat
Don’t forget to eat! Concession stands and the NYSCI café will be open during the show. I can definitely recommend the Gerard’s Paella, but there are plenty of tasty choices. Also, be sure to stay hydrated; drink plenty of liquids.
