After the success of his previous endeavor to create chairs out of tree stumps, industrial designer Colby Unger decided to take his furniture design to “the next level” with a new project called RockChair.

All it is really, is a bunch of holes in a rock and an old back of a discarded, broken chair, and just stick it in with a bunch of glue and wait for it to dry so that it’s really solid in there.
Now that the RockChair has been sufficiently field-tested by the public, Unger has put together a great tutorial that describes how to source the materials and assemble your own RockChair for your garden, or even your office!
