As Dale said, in its 5 years Maker Faire Shenzhen has celebrated the emergence of the maker movement in China and recognized the significance of Shenzhen as a global capital for makers. This year, based on Shenzhen’s innovative maker ecosystem, Maker Faire Shenzhen will embrace new technologies, fun tech, tech tools, traditional crafts, and education and media from all over the world. All attendees gather to share the culture of making and the spirit of craftsmanship here in Shenzhen, China. We have every reason to believe that it is going to be a blast!
Maker Faire Shenzhen 2016: How to Apply as an Exhibitor

After receiving your application, we will send an email confirming that we have received your entry form. If you don’t receive this email, let us know: firstname.lastname@example.org. Acceptances are sent via email approximately 1 month before the show. Once accepted, you can begin to plan for your participation!

An amazing venue at Sea World, Shekou, Shenzhen
As the gateway for China’s “Reform and Opening up,” and as the testing ground for China’s Special Economic Zones, Shekou is the starting point for modern development of Shenzhen. This year’s Maker Faire Shenzhen will take place at Sea World, Shekou, taking people back to where it all started to feel the tempo and history of this city.
Robot Combat at Maker Faire Shenzhen is co-organized by Chaihuo Maker Space and the Taiwan Robot Combat League, attracting teams from Hong Kong, Taiwan, Macao, and Mainland China. This year, 50 teams are expected to participate in the tournament, making it one of the most anticipated events at the faire.
Drones are one of the hottest maker projects out there and activities related to drones are popular with adults and kids alike! We will be bringing drone performance to this year’s Maker Faire, with elements of racing, combat, lights, and music, which is sure to promise a thrilling experience.
MakeFashion: the Future of What We Wear
MakeFashion is an initiative that introduces talented local designers to cutting edge new technologies, subject matter experts, and wearable technology. From awe-inspiring responsive runway dresses to scientific wearables with practical applications, MakeFashion Show will flaunt, dazzle, and inspire!
Akimake Party: the Electronic Party from Akihabara
Akimake Party is an interactive performance inspired by Akihabara in Japan, the country’s largest electronics business district. Audience could change the visual effect on image projected through social media, and hit the virtual monster by waving the game handle. The immersive experience made up of music, visual effects and interactive arts will be definitely be beyond your wildest imagination.
