This week learn to make a digital image into a knitting pattern to make your very own skeleton cardigan. The first video shows the image processing needed to make the pattern, and the second video shows you the stranded knitting method for switching colors. Combine those with the pattern PDF, and you’ve got yourself a sweater! I brought the skeleton cardigan with me to Maker Faire Bay Area 2008, and it was unfortunately lost with my suitcase on the return trip, but thankfully it still lives on, in video form here on CRAFT!

This is not the first time I have tried to write you about my problem. I dont know if I am the only one, but I am unable to download any files from your newsletters or site. Every one stops well before downloading. This has been happening to some degree for a long time, it started with only some files refusing to download and has now progressed to all files refusing to download. I only experience this problem with your files. Can you suggest any reason for this? I am finding it increasingly frustrating that this occurs. Please help.
I would love to help you resolve this problem! First, try right-clicking the link and selecting “Save as…” or “Save file as…” to download the file to your computer. Some browsers try to open the PDF but can’t, so this will get around that. If you’re still having trouble, please email me at becky@craftzine.com with your operating system and browser details and I can try to work with you on it, or at the very least email you the PDF.
