Artist Céleste Boursier-Mougenot’s installation features the avant-noise stylings of the seemingly mild-mannered zebra finch –
For his installation in The Curve, Boursier-Mougenot creates a walk-though aviary for a flock of zebra finches, furnished with electric guitars and other musical instruments. As the birds go about their routine activities, perching on or feeding from the various pieces of equipment, they create a captivating, live soundscape.

Haha this is hilarious. What I wonder, are the guitars tuned to an open tuning? Would sound better that way, I would imagine. I doubt the little birds can hold a chord.
Evokes Neil Young in the soundtrack to “Dead Man.”
Very cool. At first it appears that it is being filmed in a field and then they show you that it is taking place inside. It would have been cooled in a field.
**It would have been cooler if it had actually been filmed in a field.
