Sherri Haab Jewelry Inspirations by Sherri Haab
Sherri Haab has long been a driving force in the craft world. Her books have always offered wonderful projects for great jewelry, and you can count on them for clear process shots, simple tools, and tons of creative concepts. Yet Inspirations is new and unique because Sherri tells the stories in her life that motivated each piece. Whether its a treasure that recalls the beach where she played as a child, or a pendant that literally encases a vintage photo, each project has a sweet emotional twist. It’s these personal touches that transform ordinary jewelry into true keepsakes.
I love the cool colors in this Winter Solstice Charm Bracelet (and the adorable felt accents). Beyond sharing the step by step method she used for making the bracelet, she also tells how the pieces of this bracelet comes from her annual charm swap, where each of her friends brings charms to share. It’s such a great idea, and a really perfect way to carry memories with you all the time.

I would like this book because I would love to know how to make the Sea Urchin ring! I love it!
I’d love this book because I’m new to jewelry making and am always looking for ways to incorporate unexpected materials.
I work in jewelry craft, and have in the past worked with stained glass. I find the miniature box on the bracelet pictured (apparently filled with white sand) would be an excellent method of keeping, say, beach sand from a family vacation. I would hope this book would go further into (or spark other) ideas of this nature that I could incorporate into future jewelry designs.
I would love to have this book because I have 2 of Sherri Haab’s other books and I really want to see/try what is in her new book! She is SO inspiring and knowledgeable about crafting.
Sherri has a wonderful way of showing me to see ordinary things in a different light. I’m sure this book is full of creative spark and ingenious goodness!
I knit, i sew but haven’t started jewelry making just yet. The bead stores are just intimidating to me. Sherrie’s style looks so appealing to me that i will overcome my fears.
I would love this book because I am a big fan of Sherri’s! It’s because of her that i started doing precious metal clay! She is a big inspiration.
Thanks for doing the giveaway!
This would make a perfect surprise for my friends birthday. She just started making jewelry and her style is very similar to Sherri Haab’s so I think she could learn some good fundamentals from this book.
I would *love* this book because I’m a jewelry maker and I’m always inspired by her. I’ve been working non-stop to make jewelry, in hopes that I can live out my dream of quitting my full-time job to make my jewelry “obsession” into a business.
I *love* being creative and making jewelry, and Sherri’s books really inspire me! This year, I’m hoping to take the big step of living out my dream and quitting my boring desk job and turning my jewelry making “hobby” into a business. I would love her latest book for some new ideas!
I do not have any of your books, and only discovered your work today and I immediately fell in love with it. I am a full time nursing student who is a huge crafting queen and have recently unpacked my craft boxes that I haven’t opened in 18 months. I love saving mementos, scraps, jewels, plastic pieces, trinkets, etc that I find because I know I can make these things into something SOMETIME! I really thought your charm bracelets were so cute!
Anyways, I’m getting back into my crafting to de-stress while going to nursing school and I would love to have a copy of your book. Thank you.
I didn’t know about Sherri Haab’s work before reading this post – I love her style and would like to learn more about how she approaches her projects!
I love to have new ideas for jewelry designs. This books look interesting and fun too!
I love making jewelry but lately I’ve fallen out of inspiration. I really like the look of the found-objects charm bracelet, so I’d love the book for that project alone.
Having this book would be great inspiration. Lately I’ve gotten so busy with paintings for school and work, I haven’t been able to take the time to use all the beads I’ve been buying to make and create jewelry. It’s a hobby I’ve been craving to get into for much too long.
I look forward to incorporating both Sherri Haab’s use of color and how she mixies pieces to create texture & depth. My style is mainly monochromatic. This book will inspire me to use a larger color pallet and make bolder choices. :D
The woven fibre bracelet looks SO intriguing and I would love to give it a try. I’m sure there would be other things in the book that would be fun too!
I’d love to own this book because it looks like it’d be a great introduction to jewelry making which I’ve wanted to learn for quite some time. If I don’t win I may just go buy it! :) The projects in this book look amazing.
I would love to own this book, I’m always looking for new craft ideas, and I’m especially interested in the art of jewelry making.
I am 20 years old, and I have been making bracelets out of beads since the 7th grade. In high school I took a jewelry class. In college I took two ceramics classes. Basically, I love crafts of all mediums, but I feel so limited in what I can do. I want to go back to my love for jewelry and improve. I want to create things that are out of my comfort zone. This is why I want to win this book!
I went over to my mom’s and was going through her extensive bead stash a couple of nights ago, and wondering what I could do with them. This book would give me some ideas, for sure!
I love Sherri Haab’s books! She is so creative. I love those earrings on the cover.
I used to love making jewelry as a kid, but I haven’t done it in a really long time. It’d be great to pick it up again using the inspiration in this book!
I live the idea of turning ordinary objects into treasured artifacts. This book sounds like it’s packed with wonderful ways do doing this.

these objects are stunning. i love the winter charm bracelet. but i would really like to win so that i could give this book to my mother-in-law. she makes wonderful jewelry, stained glass, molds and casts of items from nature. i know that she would love this book.
I’m inspired by the Winter Solstice Charm Bracelet! And I always appreciate more ideas and inspiration. Looks like a great book!
This book looks amazing and would be a great as a first book for a first time jewelry maker that is bored with the “simple” stuff. My friends of mine who don’t craft anything really want to learn and make something and this would be great for them to pick a project each and we can make together and teach them something new.
I would love to win this book. I like her style.
I would love to win a copy of the book because I have quite a collection of beads … and simply don’t know what to do with them!
I would love this book, because I think it would bring my stringing up to a whole new level!
I’ve mainly been making necklaces, advice in making other types of jewelry would be great. But most of all I love Sherri Haab’s style, so colorful and unique. I’d love to make things as inspiring.
I would like this book because I just became a stay at home mom and I need something to do!!
