Bots wander around aimlessly and then mate

These “Sexed Robots” by artist Paul Granjon are autonomous wheeled platforms with anatomically correct male and female sex organs and are programmed to find each other through an “in heat” mode where they then attempt to mate. The bots were a commission for the Welsh Pavillion at the 2005 Venice Biennale.

Hmmm. Do they pass any information between them when they do mate? Change state? Alter behaviour?
