Conference of Creative Entrepreneurs

Craft & Design Home

There’s an awesome conference in Seattle this August called the Conference of Creative Entrepreneurs (CCE). I’m delighted to be speaking at the event! It’s being organized by some of the craftiest people I know:

The handmade and design movement is realizing a renaissance. The focus on sustainable, local and, more importantly, handcrafted product is a core value of the new generation of working professionals. Young entrepreneurs want to be able to build a community around this culture. They want to source out their material and service needs from independent businesses and advocate for policies that support small business owners and cottage industry. These communities are just starting to form across the USA. We have a strong contingent of creative professionals on the West Coast. CCE will be able to develop this community by providing meeting space, educational seminars, support and leadership in the form of an annual conference.

What will the next generation of Make: look like? We’re inviting you to shape the future by investing in Make:. By becoming an investor, you help decide what’s next. The future of Make: is in your hands. Learn More.
