Back in March, I went wine tasting with some friends. At one of the wineries — Lynmar Estate in Sebastopol — I came across this awesome chair made of corks! I don’t know whether the entire thing was corks, or if they were covering some kind of base.
Corks are a great crafting material to upcycle. I know you can make furniture, floor mats, and cork boards (duh!), but what other clever ideas have you come across for using corks?

I wonder if the chair is all corks, or if it’s corks added to a base. Neat! That’s a lot of wine :)
I corked a wall in a half bath – the entire wall behind the toilet. Also made a towel rack out of champagne corks. Drilled a hole from end to end and inserted a dowel rod!
