Cory Arcangel Video Portrait

Computers & Mobile Craft & Design

Artist Cory Arcangel is inspired by art on the internet, video games, and projects with excellent online documentation. In this video portrait by Motherboard, check out some of his works, ideas, and inspirations from his classic NES rom hacks to performative music and video works. He credits the O’Reilly Perl book for getting him started in programming. If you’re not familiar with Arcangel’s work, you should be, and fortunately this video will really help you out. His new show, Pro Tools, is open at the Whitney in NYC through September 11 2011. [via @tbx]
