While in Chicago this past summer for BlogHer, Kristin of Craft Leftovers and I had a couple hours to explore a bit of crafty Chicago. She took me to Nina (1655 West Division St., Chicago 773-486-8996), a yarn store in Wicker Park that had the most beautiful modern interior design. The long rows of yarn and displays were just begging you to touch them. I loved spectacular variety of independent and boutique yarn that I had never heard of. After an hour of torturous decision-making, I finally succumbed to 2 balls of the Be Sweet organic bamboo yarn (that’s also anti-baterial) in red, some Misti Alpaca baby alpaca hand dyed yarn in shades of pink and brown, and finally a small skein of Lorna’s angora/lambswool. You can see my photos of Nina and find out more from the Nina web site. Link.

Did anyone else read the post title as, “Ninja Yarn Shop?”
Or was that just me?
