My mom is a huge Mahjong player. She has a group of friends with whom she plays weekly, and just last week she hosted a day-long Mahjong gathering and party. I resisted learning for the longest time, thinking it was just an “old ladies'” game. One day when we were stuck somewhere for a random holiday, I had nothing to do but learn and play with her and a few friends. Five hours later, they had to pry me from the game table. I was hooked. I rarely get to play these days, but this amazing hand-painted Mahjong set that Craftster user, toque created for her husband is really making me itch to get the tiles out and teach some of my friends.
