If you’ve been around the DIY community for long, you’ve probably seen about a million projects featuring wood recycled from shipping pallets. But, even if you’re pretty sure that you’ve seen everything DIY that a pallet has to offer, you should probably still check out this gorgeous stacked wood pallet desk tutorial from Overthinking Design anyway. I think you’ll agree that it’s a beautiful, interesting, and inspiring take on wooden pallet reuse. (And one that I wouldn’t mind seeing more often!)

I’m a big fan of the mixture of colors, textures, and patterns that you can make by stacking different pieces of wood together, and I think the internal threaded rod structure used here is fantastic.
