Welp, we’re just about elbow-deep in decorative gourd season, so it’s a great time to get into some delightful ways to make the most of all those gorgeous gourds with projects like this DIY pumpkin-scented soy wax candles tutorial by Brittni Mehlhoff over at Momtastic.
This project features all the slimy fun of gutting a pumpkin for carving, and even involves lighting a candle inside the pumpkin, but this time the pumpkin itself is the candle. This looks like a great project for the entire fall season and nice to way to get into candle making in anticipation of those long cold nights!

I had no idea that you could make your own candles! I am so glad I was able to find this, because I was wanted to get a few things to put around our home during Halloween time. And I think, that if I were to have these around my home, that it would make my house look a lot better. Thanks a ton for posting this. I really hope my candles turn out looking as great as yours. http://www.scentsandsilver.com/faqs.html
