Quirky Montreal artist and fabricator Ian Langohr’s latest creation is this fantastic Cthulhu mask. Over on his website, there’s an enjoyable photo series featuring the mask. I picked my favorites to share here.
Fun fact: Ian finds inspiration in (not surprisingly) horror and fantasy novels and films. But he also enjoys checking out abandoned Montreal factories and watching nature documentaries, like Planet Earth. Want to know more about him? Check out this Craft interview with Ian Langohr from last November.
If you’re curious how one might go about making a mask such as this, you’re in luck! Ian made a sped-up video of the process for his Zombie Cat Mask.

Go home Cthulhu, you’re drunk!
Wow, Cthulhu is really becoming popular! There is some big Cthulhu board game on Kickstarter ( Cthulhu Wars ) that met its funding goal in less than an hour!
