We’re feeling lucky as we craft these rainbow painted pots for St. Patrick’s Day. They are sure to be filled with gold at the end of this rainbow!

Rainbowpots Materials

Materials

Terra-cotta pots
Paint – in all colors
Paint brushes
Paper towel or newspaper
Plate for paint
Cup of water
Gold candy or green shamrock plant

Directions

Rainbowpots Step 1

Step 1: Pour your paint onto a plate, one dollop of each color.

Rainbowpots Step 2

Step 2: Using your paint brush, paint a rainbow with each color of paint onto your pot. You can do stripes that are horizontal or vertical. You could even paint polka dots or other fun designs. Let these pots dry completely.

Now fill these with gold-wrapped treats, to represent gold at the end of a rainbow. You could also plant a green plant or shamrock plant inside these colorful pots – perfect to celebrate the coming weeks.
