An inspiring reason to keep your aluminum cans is so you can turn them into sculptures! Japanese maker Makaon uses the cans’ graphic design and colors as a readymade palette for sculptures ranging from anime and videogame characters to insects found in nature. Especially fitting for the craft are robots, and Makaon does it all with little more than glue and cellulose tape. And patience. Lots of patience! Click the slideshow to see more examples.
