All the images came from the actual maker’s site:
http://www.blackwidowbakery.com/demo/meatcake/
The poster at Instructables used the original maker’s photos and simply added illiterate, incorrect, instructions.
man, why do people do that? ok, i’m updating the post.
Unfortunately whoever put it up on Instructables seems to have, erm, “borrowed” it from this site: http://www.blackwidowbakery.com/demo/meatcake
without correct instructions, and apparently without crediting the actual author/photographer, either.
@wyandots – the link is updated.
i got’cher meat cake right here!
Worchester? Where’s that, then?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Worcestershire_sauce
For the non-Brits around you, that’s pronounced Whuss-ter-shur – the town itself is called Worcester (Whuss-ter)
(As someone born there, I always feel the need to point that out. Did you know they mash up anchovies in big vats and leave it to ferment… mmm…)
Hi! I’m the maker of the meatcake featured. Thanks for sharing the meatcake love! One minor thing, tho – could you possibly fix the copy? I’m irritated that this person has presented my work as their own, and the whole “made from ground beef, mashed potatoes kechup or A1 steak sauce, and worchester sauce” irks me a bit. I’d really hate someone thinking I sound like an idiot.
Thanks! :D
Heh. I got a castle cake mold last year, and of course, used it to make meatloaf. But instead of pretty, we went for the positively zombie-riffic gross look.
