Keeping your eyes open during a life-casting of your face is probably impossible and in any case is certainly a very bad idea. So life-cast heads always have closed eyes. Bad idea? Well, there are special ocular-grade alginates used for taking casts of eyeballs for scleral contact lenses. Use that in combination with the regular grad alginate.
