A good apron is definitely the unsung hero in both my craft studio and kitchen, quietly spending its day preventing messes and stains while I go on about my life. For most of my projects, I’ve found that a half apron is just about the right size, and this simple gathered half apron tutorial from Delia at Delia Creates looks pretty darn perfect for daily use. (I also like to add pockets to some of mine.)
Aprons are a quick sew, and, if you spend a lot of time crafting, cooking, or doing yard work, they just might be one of the most practical items you can make.
