Pam of Gingerbread Snowflakes created a minagerie of gorgeous yarn-wrapped stars to use in decor projects for the 4th of July. The best part is that, though they look rich and complicated, you can actually whip them up rather quickly.

You have plenty of time to make your own eight sided yarn stars before the holiday! I made all of these – 15 in all – in one evening. Once you get the hang of weaving, making them is a piece of cake!

See the many ways she uses them in different projects over on her blog. Thanks, Diane!
