In a world filled with unexpectedly awesome IKEA hacks, I have to say that this DIY striped maxi skirt made from an IKEA throw blanket from Kristi Murphy is one of the more surprising—and surprisingly fabulous—fashion-related hacks that I’ve seen yet.

Standing just over five feet tall myself, I can’t say that this maxi skirt would be the most flattering DIY for my body type, but it sure does look fantastic on the creator! (It also looks really comfortable!)
