IKEA Hack: DIY Striped Skirt from a Throw Blanket

Craft & Design Yarncraft

In a world filled with unexpectedly awesome IKEA hacks, I have to say that this DIY striped maxi skirt made from an IKEA throw blanket from Kristi Murphy is one of the more surprising—and surprisingly fabulous—fashion-related hacks that I’ve seen yet.

Standing just over five feet tall myself, I can’t say that this maxi skirt would be the most flattering DIY for my body type, but it sure does look fantastic on the creator! (It also looks really comfortable!)

Inspired? Head on over to Kristi’s site to see the full transformation.
