The winners have been announced for the recent KnitPro Needlecraft Art Show! Thanks to Cat for inviting me to be a judge. KnitPro, as you know, is a great online software app that turns your ordinary designs and digital photos into a useful pattern grid for any needlecraft project such as knitting or needlepoint. All the entries in this art show used KnitPro to help create their pieces. The work presented in the art show is an amazing mix of artistry coupled with some sophisticated crafting. Pictured here is my favorite: the “Fender Knit Guitar” created by Sarah Stollark of Austin, TX. Her intricate technique is amazing, using size 2 needles and vintage stocking nylon to create the Fender logo. Link.
