Laura Cesari’s Atmospheric Strata Necklace

atmosphere_necklacke.jpg
Laura Cesari filled us in on the inspiration behind her solar system necklaces back in the spring (and my husband was kind enough to get one for me for Mother’s Day – I adore it!). Laura’s latest science-inspired necklace over in the Makers Market is this fantastic representation of atmospheric strata.

Six shimmering glass beaded strands represent the the Atmospheric Strata and various objects and phenomena from the Atmosphere.

I love that each strand has something that would be found in that layer of the atmosphere, like clouds or meteors or even satellites. I think my favorite has to be the Aurora Borealis. I can’t wait to see what Laura comes up with next!
