That looks pretty cool, but it doesn’t seem like it would be very safe. Most rope lights I’ve encountered get very hot after being on for more than an hour; weaving it with yarn sounds like a fire hazard. I would think that walking on the rope lights would also cause sections of them to go out pretty quickly.
