“Line” by lighting designer James Clar attempts to recreate color data systems through illuminating full-spectrum control of tri-color LEDs along its five foot array. The piece is basically a clock, where the RGB values are mapped to hours, minutes, and second creating trippy patterns that change throughout the day.

I love eye candy and bright colors – this clock looks like a good candidate for “re-making”. Wouldn’t want one in the bedroom though, I think it’d be kind of distracting to the sleep process.
