I spent last weekend in Anaheim, CA, walking the show floor and perusing the very latest in crafty awesomeness at the Craft and Hobby Association Trade Show. One of the highlights of the show was the annual Lion Brand Yarn Fashion Show, where I was completely blown away by the creativity and skill of the fiber artists who created each piece.
I couldn’t resist starting this post off with a photo of my favorite accessory from Lion Brand Yarn. I think everyone needs a Little Grannies Scarf, don’t you?
Here are a few more of my top picks:
This gorgeous Pattern and Shape piece was created by designer Adi Segalovitz.
I could definitely see myself wearing this classic, flattering Color and Pattern piece by designer Samantha Nushell.
I’m loving the chunky, varied texture in this 3-D Sculpture piece from designer Trine Elmkvist.
Last, but certainly not least, I adore this oversized color block Pattern and Shape sweater from designer Sabrina Weight.
What’s your favorite knitting or crochet trend?
If you want to see even more fiber-y goodness, you can check out my photos from last year’s fashion show here.

I love to crochet, but I don’t know how to knit. After seeing these pictures I’m totally wanting to make myself a dress or skirt. That chunky dress is so cute!! Now the wheels are turning on how to create something like that… hum… :) Thanks for sharing!
