When it comes to quilting and sewing, Susan Beal is one of my most inspiring friends, and her wonderful Modern Log Cabin Quilting book definitely has a permanent spot on my bookshelf. So, when she told me that she was doing a 4-week Log Cabin Quilting class on Creativebug, I knew the projects would be fantastic, and I couldn’t wait to check it out!
The first project went live this week, so now’s the perfect time to join if you’d like to take part in live video chats for the upcoming weeks. (You don’t need to join the live chats to take the classes—the project videos will be available whenever you’re ready to get started.)
Giveaway alert: Scroll down to the bottom of this post for a chance to win a 3-month subscription to Creativebug for you and a friend!
Here’s what you’ll make in Susan’s class:
Week 1: Block-making Basics and Sewing a Pillow
Week 2: Block-setting Basics and Sewing a Baby Quilt
Week 3: Modern Cross Block and Sewing a Table Runner Set
Week 4: Improvised Wonky Blocks and Sewing a Tote Bag
I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait to make the baby quilt and tote bag!
